Getting the Most from Your Image

Always use the highest resolution setting on your camera to achieve the best image to transpose your photos on canvas. It will use more memory but provide a much higher quality image for us to work with.

Considering Eye-Level

If you're taking pictures of children, babies, animals, or something else smaller than you, get down to the same level to get a better picture.

Positioning the Focus of Your Image

Don't be afraid to have the main focus of your image to the side, it doesn't have to be central if the backdrop is worth capturing too.

The Importance of Good Lighting

Make sure you have enough light. A dark picture will miss the finer details of your subject. Play with shadows and light sources to create different effects. Landscape images can look especially beautiful at dawn and dusk and create a wonderful 3 or 4 panel photo canvas.

Getting to Know the Manual

Read the manual. If you know all the features and functions of your camera you will have more tools at hand to create the perfect image.

Carry Your Camera Everywhere

Be prepared, you never know when that perfect shot will appear, and you'll be disappointed if you miss it!

Take lots of photos, you can always go back and delete the less perfect ones to regain your card memory.

Consider different Angles

Take pictures from unusual angles to make them more interesting, you can make the most unremarkable things remarkable!
