Just because it's wall art doesn't mean it has to be massive and overwhelm a room. Sometimes what you need is just one extra little splash of style or color. A small surprise bit of cheer in a hallway, or alcove. Small canvas prints can be just the perfect, exquisite little detail that sets off the rest of the room. Small canvases can also be more flexible in oddly shaped rooms, or rooms with tall or massive antique furniture, or smaller, more intimate rooms such as a nursery or bath.
Sometimes a picture, particularly a portrait, just looks better on a smaller canvas. Maybe you just want a small permanent reminder of that faithful canine friend, not something large enough to scare small children. Or you've always enjoyed that standard size eight by ten inch photograph of your son or daughter? Turn it into real art by having it printed on a small canvas in exactly the same size. Present it to Grandma or hang it yourself. A portrait doesn't have to dominate a room or a wall to be a much- loved remembrance of a loved one.
Do you have a large area, but no one big thing you'd like to hang there? Then create a grouping of smaller canvas prints. For instance, create a photo on canvas print of each of your children or grandchildren separately and spread the group out, fashioning what can be lovingly referred to as your own gallery of rogues. Maybe you're not the grandparent yet, but you and your grown siblings have been struggling with an idea of something to get your parents, and just can't come up with anything they don't already have? Each child or family could have small canvas prints made of themselves, or just the children, and create a matchless display for your parents. Everyone should coordinate styles and colors with each other so that when the many small canvases come together, your parents have a striking piece of wall decor as well as one harmonious display of their offspring and grandchildren.
These are some of the reasons why we offer small canvas prints along with much larger sizes. Our standard sizes start as small as eight inches by eight inches, and we have forty-eight different stock sizes. If you don't see exactly the size you want, call or email us and discuss custom-sized framing. Our in-house designers would be happy to work with you to get just the effect you're looking for.
